Please read this entire job post carefully to ensure you meet all requirements and follow the application instructions precisely.
Key Responsibilities
- Photo Culling: Carefully sorting through photo sessions in Adobe Lightroom to select the best images, based on provided training.
- Photo Editing: Removing leashes, collars, people, and other distractions from photos in Adobe Photoshop.
- Style Matching: Editing photos to match my specific style. I will provide comprehensive training and custom Photoshop actions to help you with this.

Requirements:
Proven experience with Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Lightroom.
Access to your own licensed copies of Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom.
A reliable, high-speed internet connection suitable for transferring large files (e.g., Lightroom Catalogs and RAW images).
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to meeting deadlines.
Excellent written communication skills in English.
What We're Not Looking For:
Individuals who are disorganised or struggle with deadlines.
Candidates who do not have their own legal copies of Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom.
Applicants who lack strong attention to detail.
Those with poor English communication skills or an unreliable internet connection.
Workload & Schedule:
This is a freelance position with no set weekly hours. The workload is entirely dependent on the number of client photo sessions booked.
Some weeks may have no work, while others could be busy. You must be flexible and adaptable to a fluctuating schedule.
Our busiest seasons are typically Autumn (March-May) and Spring (September-November).
How to Apply:
To be considered for this role, you must follow these instructions exactly:
In the subject line of your application, please write: "Your Name - Pet Photo Editor Application".
In your reply, please start with the answer to this question: What is your favourite dog breed and why?
After answering the question, write a brief cover letter explaining how you meet each of the requirements listed above.
Confirm that you have a strong and reliable internet connection.
Include a link to your portfolio or attach 2-3 examples of your photo editing work. Your portfolio must contain relevant examples, such as portrait or animal photography. Applications with irrelevant work (e.g., product, architecture, or landscape photography) will not be considered. Before-and-after examples are highly encouraged.
Shortlisted candidates will be contacted for a trial project to assess their skills and ability to follow instructions - response must be within 24-48 hours.
We look forward to receiving your application!
