Accounts Payable Automation

We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and process-driven Accounts Payable Automation Specialist to lead and optimize our AP function. This role will focus on streamlining vendor payments, improving accuracy, and driving cost savings through automation. Familiarity with ---------- and Sage 100 is essential. Experience in food distribution or related industries is strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities:
Manage full-cycle accounts payable, including invoice entry, coding, approval routing, and payment processing.

Utilize ---------- to automate receipt capture, approval workflows, and expense categorization.

Ensure seamless integration and data accuracy between Ramp and Sage 100 accounting systems.

Monitor vendor account balances and reconcile discrepancies proactively.

Partner with purchasing and operations to identify cost-saving opportunities and ensure expense accuracy.

Maintain and enforce internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance.

Support month-end close by preparing AP schedules, accruals, and reconciliations.

Generate reports to track cash outflows, vendor trends, and potential savings.

Recommend and implement improvements to AP processes, with a strong focus on automation and cost efficiency.

Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in accounts payable or accounting, preferably in a food distribution, wholesale, or logistics environment.

Strong, hands-on experience with ---------- and Sage 100 is required.

Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.

Strong analytical mindset with a focus on cost reduction and efficiency.

Proficiency in Excel and ability to manage large volumes of data.

Clear communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Experience:
Prior experience working in foodservice or food distribution.

Familiarity with vendor management, freight charges, and inventory-related AP.

Experience integrating or troubleshooting AP automation tools.
