JOB OVERVIEW

About the Role
We are a fast-growing eCommerce brand in the beauty and skincare space, seeking a talented Static Ad Designer to craft high-converting image ads for Facebook and Instagram
. This isn’t about just making things look pretty – we need someone who understands the difference between “pretty” design and conversion-driven creative
. If you live and breathe design, know what makes people stop scrolling on Meta, and can turn ideas into irresistible, high-converting static ads, this is your chance to make a real impact in a role focused on direct-response marketing performance.

Key Responsibilities:
-Design High-Impact Ads: Create eye-catching static image ads on a daily basis for Facebook & Instagram that drive clicks, engagement, and sales. Your images should stop the scroll and compel action.
Iterate & Optimize: Produce multiple ad variations and test new angles (e.g. different headlines, visuals, hooks, and CTAs) to continuously improve performance and conversion rates. We value fast iteration – volume and testing are key.
-Leverage AI Tools: Work smarter by using AI creative tools (e.g. MidJourney, Adobe Firefly, Runway, ChatGPT) to generate ideas, create variations, and accelerate your workflow. Turn raw concepts into polished, thumb-stopping visuals efficiently.
-Collaborate with Team: Work closely with our creative strategy and media buying team to ensure your creatives align with campaign goals.

Who We’re Looking For (Qualifications)
-Proven Ad Design Experience – You have a track record of creating high-converting paid social ads (especially static Facebook/Instagram ads). Please have a portfolio of past ad designs to show your experience.
-Strong Graphic Design Skills – Proficient in Adobe Photoshop or similar tools, with a great eye for layout, typography, color, and detail. Every creative you produce should look polished and professional.
-Direct-Response Mindset – You don’t just make things “look nice” – you know how to sell through design. You can turn product features into benefits and visuals into sales by applying marketing psychology
-Tool & Tech Savvy – Fluent in modern design tools (Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma, Canva – your choice). Experience with AI design tools is a big plus, as we embrace AI to work faster and smarter.
-Performance-Oriented – Understand what drives CTR and ROAS in paid social campaigns. You make design decisions based on data and conversion potential, not just aesthetics.
-Fast & Flexible – Able to iterate rapidly based on feedback and performance data, without getting overly attached to any single design (we’re all about what actually works!). You thrive in a fast-paced environment and can handle producing a high volume of creatives.
-Strong Communication – Excellent written and spoken English; able to follow instructions and collaborate in a remote team setting. You communicate proactively and can adjust ad copy/text as needed for clarity and impact.
-Self-Starter – Able to work independently and manage your time in a remote role with minimal hand-holding, while maintaining proactive communication with the team. We value accountability and a get-it-done attitude.
-Industry Knowledge (Bonus): Experience designing ads for eCommerce or DTC brands – especially in beauty, skincare, health, or wellness niches – will make you stand out. Being up-to-date with social media ad trends and knowing how to reverse-engineer winning ads (e.g. browsing Meta Ad Library) is a plus.

Compensation & Schedule
This is a full-time remote contract position (approximately 40 hours per week). Working hours will align with US Pacific Time – you must be able to start by 7:00 AM PST each weekday to collaborate with our team in real time. We offer a competitive salary of $500 USD per month.

Benefits:
1 day off per month + all regular PH Holidays honored
