Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Insurance Eligibility Verification Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for verifying patients’ insurance coverage and benefits, monitoring incoming emails, and conducting chart audits to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Key Responsibilities
Verify insurance eligibility and benefits for patients across various insurance carriers.

Accurately document verification details in patient records.

Communicate with the team and insurance companies to resolve coverage discrepancies.

Monitor and manage incoming emails related to patient insurance and billing.

Perform periodic audits of patient charts for accuracy and compliance.

Collaborate with billing, clinical, and administrative teams to support smooth operations.

Qualifications
Required: Demonstrated knowledge of insurance verification and eligibility processes.

Prior experience working in a healthcare, billing, or insurance setting preferred.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Excellent communication skills.

Proficiency in using EMR/EHR systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
