Freelance Lightroom Editor

Hi! My name is Jenn Yablonowski (New Copper Photography) and I’m a wedding & lifestyle photographer based in Manitoba, Canada. My lifestyle work includes a range of sessions like family, newborn, pet, and commercial photography — so there’s always something new and beautiful to edit! I’m looking for a photo editor to help me with weddings and lifestyle sessions this year — and ideally beyond for years to come!

I currently have 6 weddings remaining for this year (2025), from now until October, and an average of roughly 3–6 lifestyle sessions per month. This is what I have guaranteed right now, but as I book more sessions and weddings, they’ll be added to a task board (ClickUp) right away so you can see well in advance what I’ll need help with and when it will be due — giving you plenty of time to plan your life and other editing jobs accordingly.

As a heads up, I use an AI editing tool to help with the base edit so that the editing process is as efficient as possible. This means you’ll receive a Lightroom catalog with the images partially or mostly edited, but I still need help getting them fully completed through dodging and burning, cropping, straightening, exposure and temperature correction, etc.

Since the AI editing tool will be taking care of the base edit, this means it will take you less time per image to finish the edit to the standard I’m looking for, since there will already be a strong base edit applied. For this reason, I’m looking for someone who can fine-tune these images for $0.12 CAD per image.

Here’s what I need help with:
Fine-tuning approximately 600–900 photos per wedding in Lightroom with the preset I use.
Fine-tuning approximately 100–150 photos per lifestyle session in Lightroom with the preset I use.
Using dodging and burning, graduated filters, cropping, straightening, checking exposure and colour temperature, and a few other minor edits like spot removal (you’ll be trained on how I edit my photos with video recordings and examples)

Ideally someone who can support me with a 5–7 business day turnaround time for weddings and a 2-3 business day turnaround time for the smaller lifestyle sessions.
