Video Editor/Social Media Manager /Assistant

**Position Details:**
- **Job Title:** Part-Time Video Editor
- **Hours:** 25 hours per week
- **Project Load:** 3 to 4 projects within the designated hours
- **Availability:** Must be willing to work on Saturdays, as our business operates 7 days a week we will assure you have two days off a week but they will not be Sat or Sun US Standard Time

- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines

**Qualifications:**
- Proven experience as a video editor with a strong portfolio
- Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Cap Cut Pro, Davinci Resolve)
- Familiarity with Google Suite and WhatsApp for effective communication
- Strong time management skills and a detail-oriented approach
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

You will need to download the video folder assets we provide from Google Drive and you must read through the video instructions document we provide. If you have any questions, we expect you to ask us right away to clear any confusion and misunderstandings that you may have.
You will be required to complete a test and turn around a project quickly to get the position . This is a paid test but will only get paid on completion

Your primary role is to follow the video instructions document we provide on that specific video, assemble the video, removing swear words (very important), light audio editing, cut/edit the video for better tempo & flow as needed and reposition the video clips for better visual composition. Some color correction may be needed.

You will use the b-roll, graphics, and audio we provide, in addition to finding and using your own copyright-free b-roll, graphics, and audio to add in the video. You may use copyrighted work in accordance to Fair Use/Dealing standards, but we will discuss this further with you. At least minimal motion graphics, some captions, and using special video assets like effects and especially transitions is highly encouraged when applicable.

We will provide the majority of the necessary materials (video folder assets) for you to complete the video, but we want your specific video editing flair, your creativity, and your proactive approach in making a video look visually-pleasing to our viewers.

We expect a max 36-day turnaround time. Shorter the turnaround time, the better. The speed of delivering a finished quality video back to us is very important for all of our success.

This job role may expand in the future depending on your skill sets, your skill development, the quality of your work, our working relationship with you, and your willingness to work with us.
You will have a 60 day evaluation period to determine if we will move forward , at that time we will discuss a pay increase depending on performance.
