Part-Time Video Editor for Personal Brand and Home Improvement Company

Job Description:

Hi there. My name is Andy Garcia. I'm the founder of HappyCasa, one of the top bathroom remodeling companies in Maryland. We've built a strong reputation in the home improvement space—but now, I'm focused on expanding my personal brand online through short-form video content (TikTok, Instagram Reels, and eventually YouTube).

I'm looking for a part-time video editor who can help me create 5–10 short videos per week using raw clips I’ll provide. These videos will highlight my journey as a young entrepreneur, behind-the-scenes of remodeling projects, client transformations, and business/lifestyle content. Long-form editing for YouTube will follow as the brand grows.

What I'm Looking For:

Strong skills in editing TikTok/Reels-style content (transitions, captions, pacing, etc.)
An eye for trends and storytelling
Ability to turn rough clips into clean, engaging edits
Basic graphic motion (text overlays, simple animations) is a plus
Bonus if you’ve worked with personal brands, entrepreneurs, or lifestyle/business creators
Work Hours and Pay:

Part-time to start (flexible hours)
Pay is competitive and based on skill and experience
Potential to move into full-time, long-term work as the brand scales

HappyCasa is a fast-growing remodeling company based in Maryland with over $2M in annual revenue. We specialize in bathroom transformations and are known for quality work and professionalism. This role supports the next phase: building a strong personal brand behind the business—sharing the story, educating others, and building a broader online presence.

Preferred Software Knowledge:

CapCut (especially the desktop version for higher-quality edits)
Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro
After Effects (for motion graphics and animated text, not required but a big plus)
DaVinci Resolve (for color grading, optional)
Familiarity with Canva or other simple design tools is helpful but not required
