We help Americans unlock wealth and free themselves from the corporate grind through acquisition. As we continue to scale, we’re looking for an SBA Loan Packaging & Closing Specialist to ensure our SBA loan files are professionally prepared, lender-ready, and processed with speed and precision.
This role is critical to our mission. You’ll play a key part in keeping the SBA component of our deal pipeline running smoothly—owning the creation of complete loan packages, coordinating with lenders, and supporting our internal teams with expert-level documentation and communication.
Your Main Responsibilities

Your day-to-day will include:
- SBA Package Creation: Prepare comprehensive SBA loan packages, including executive summaries, borrower profiles, and supporting financial documentation.
- Lender Communication: Coordinate directly with lenders via
- Financial Model Updating: Review and update financial models as needed for packaging, with support from the Financial Analyst.
- Document Management: Maintain structured, organized folders for all SBA deal materials. Ensure consistency with internal file naming and data retention standards.
- AI Experience: Use AI tools to generate or refine executive summaries, develop business plans, craft prompt engineering solutions, or assist with form responses where appropriate.
- Timeline Management: Track deadlines and follow-ups, ensuring all submissions and lender responses happen within set turnaround times.
- Accounting Coordination: Partner with internal or external accounting teams to include finalized P&Ls, balance sheets, and projections in loan submissions.
- Process Improvement: Recommend and implement process enhancements that reduce friction or delays in the SBA pipeline.
You MUST Have:
- Strong organizational skills with obsessive attention to detail and document accuracy
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially in professional
- Experience working with business loan documentation, SBA packaging, or high-volume finance documentation
- Comfort using Google Workspace, Slack, Notion, and financial file formats (PDFs, Excel, etc.)
- Ability to work independently and follow through on complex workflows without daily oversight
You SHOULD Have:
- 1–3 years of experience in operations, financial services, SBA lending, or related fields
- Familiarity with SBA 7(a) loan programs and basic lender expectations
- A basic understanding of acquisition documents such as LOIs and financial models
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams or external stakeholders under time pressure
