Content Creator + VA (Part-Time/Contract) – Resistance Candles

Are you obsessed with American history, liberty, storytelling, and high-performing content?

We’re Resistance Candles™—a bold, USA-made candle brand rooted in patriotism, faith, and freedom—and we’re looking for a content-savvy Virtual Assistant who can own our content across platforms.

This is not a “post and pray” job.

We’re hiring someone who:
- Thinks strategically about content (not just what to post, but why)
- Uses AI tools confidently (ChatGPT, Canva, Veo3, Runway, etc.) to streamline content creation
- Researches quickly and well (especially for historical/political content accuracy)
- Understands trends and adapts to different platforms (Instagram, Facebook, email, etc.)
- Writes and posts content regularly—reels, carousels, captions, comments, and more
- Monitors and responds to comments with on-brand wit and personality
- Helps brainstorm new ideas, angles, and campaigns with the team

You’ll be our boots-on-the-ground content commander—keeping things consistent, aligned with our values, and always engaging.

Must-Haves:
- Excellent written English
- Strong grasp of American history, faith-based culture, and liberty-first values
- Ability to match our tone: clever, classy, bold—not redneck, not corporate
- Experience managing content calendars and posting tools (Meta Business Suite, Later, etc.)
- Self-starter mentality. You won’t be micromanaged here.

Bonus if you:
- Have design skills (Canva, basic video editing)
- Understand email marketing, SMS, or ad creative
- Are familiar with Shopify or DTC brands

This is a part-time, remote role with room to grow based on performance. You’ll work directly with the founder and team, helping build something powerful—one post at a time.
