We’re seeking an experienced Video Editor who understands the science and art behind direct response marketing and has a portfolio of affiliate ad creatives that convert. You’ll work closely with our team to turn concepts into engaging, scroll-stopping videos for platforms like
Responsibilities:
Edit short-form videos (30s to 2min) for paid ads, optimized for conversion and engagement.
Implement proven structures for direct response, including strong hooks, fast pacing, and clear CTAs
Source and edit stock footage, user-generated content, AI UGC, and voiceovers
Add compelling text overlays, captions, transitions, sound effects, and music
Collaborate with marketing team to iterate and optimize based on performance data
Stay updated with trends and best practices in performance creatives and platform algorithms
Requirements:
Experience editing videos for affiliate or performance marketing. Preferably you have done videos for affiliate lead gen in verticals like auto insurance, medicare, ACA, final expense, home services, etc.
Solid portfolio showcasing high-converting direct response ad creatives
Expert in tools like Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve, etc
Deep understanding of editing for emotional impact, urgency, and persuasion
Familiarity with hooks, pain points, social proof, and other DR frameworks
Ability to work quickly, meet tight deadlines, and pivot based on feedback and data
Comfortable editing for multiple formats: square, vertical, 16:9, etc.
Nice to Have:
Experience working directly with affiliate networks or performance agencies
Copywriting or scripting experience
Motion graphics or animation skills
