YouTube & Short Video Editor Needed

Overview:

We're looking for a sharp, fast-moving video editor with an eye for storytelling to join our content team. This editor will help transform long-form YouTube videos and short-form clips into high-performing, visually captivating content that blends fashion education, cultural insight, and personal empowerment.

Weekly Platform Output:

YouTube: 2 long form
4-6 short-form videos/week (repurposed from long form)
* Edits will include talking head, B-roll layering, transitions, captions, light motion graphics, and sound balancing

Position Type: Full-Time (Remote)
Hours: 40 hours/week

Responsibilities:

- Edit 2 long-form YouTube videos weekly using talking head + B-roll format.
- Edit 4-6 short-form vertical videos weekly repurposed from long-form or raw audio.
- Sync audio and video clips, remove pauses/fillers, and tighten delivery.
- Layer dynamic B-roll and product visuals (i.e., outfits, moodboards, luxury lifestyle content).
- Integrate motion graphics, captions, and transitions that match our brand tone.
- Follow creator-led scripting and hook-based storytelling structure.
- Deliver polished drafts with quick turnaround (2-3 days max for long-form).
- Collaborate via Trello/Notion and share assets via Google ---------- .

Must-Have Qualifications:

- Proven experience editing content for YouTube and/or TikTok in fashion, lifestyle, or commentary spaces.
- Strong sense of rhythm, story pacing, and engaging visuals.
- Portfolio that demonstrates clean, modern editing with emotional resonance.
- Familiar with optimizing watch-throughs, AVD, and visual storytelling for digital platforms.
- Comfortable editing with CapCut or Final Cut Pro / Adobe Premiere Pro.

- You know how to cut the fluff and keep storytelling tight, emotional, and easy to follow.
- You know how to use B-roll as a narrative tool — Pinterest boards, lookbooks, runways, vintage clips, etc.
- You can elevate talking-head footage with overlays, product visuals, and subtle visual metaphors.
- You care about creator-voice consistency and adapt editing to match our voice and tone.
