Back-end Web Developer - Wordpress

As a Back-End Web Developer, you'll play a crucial role in developing and maintaining our custom web applications and WordPress-driven websites, project based. You'll work closely with our Senior Developer and Company Owner, contributing to projects that demand high performance, complex integrations, and creative problem-solving. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys tackling technical challenges and thrives in a collaborative environment.

What You'll Do:
* Create and customize WordPress themes and plugins, including custom Gutenberg blocks and modules for page builders.
* Implement and optimize WordPress functionality, including The Loop, for high-traffic websites.
* Design and develop APIs to support various applications and functionalities.
* Develop and maintain custom web applications using PHP, Laravel, and React.
* Optimize website performance and ensure seamless integration between front-end and back-end.
* Troubleshoot and debug applications to maintain optimal performance and data integrity.
* Implement and manage server-side logic and data flow.
* Utilize Git for version control and collaborate effectively with the development team.
* Manage and configure Cloudflare for website performance and security.
* Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
* Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends.

Requirements:
* Project base, Freelance opportunity, no commitment on weekly hours.
* Excellent spoken and written English skills.
* Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
* Proven experience as a Back-End Web Developer, with a focus on WordPress and Laravel.
* Experience building custom WordPress themes and plugins from scratch.
* Experience with Custome Post Types.
* Solid understanding of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
