Chief of Staff - Remote Operator for Entrepreneurial Business

About the Role:
We're looking for a remote Chief of Staff who can act as the operational glue across several ventures - including a short-term rental business, a cleaning service, and a growing SaaS tool in the legal tech space. This is a startup-style operator role, not a corporate strategy one. You’ll be hands-on, proactive, and constantly bringing order to the chaos.

You'll be working directly with the founder to:
- Keep systems running (and people accountable)
- Hire and manage freelancers, marketers, and salespeople
- Translate big vision into step-by-step execution
- Ensure projects don’t just start - they finish

This role is perfect for a high-agency, systems-minded generalist who gets a thrill from making complex operations run smoothly.

Responsibilities:
- Maintain and improve internal systems (Notion, SOPs)
- Manage hiring pipelines (post jobs, vet applicants, run initial interviews)
- Track KPIs across business units and chase down outcomes
- Coordinate across sales, marketing, ops, and contractors
- Build simple automation between tools (Zapier, Slack, email, etc.)
- Anticipate founder needs and remove roadblocks before they surface
- Keep the founder focused on highest-leverage strategy, not task overflow

Compensation:
- $900–$1,200/month to start (based on experience + capability)
- Bonus opportunities as you grow into the role
