We’re now looking for a Senior Interior Architect to help us maintain technical excellence across our studio, supporting project delivery under the guidance of the Founder and Lead Designer. You’ll bring a strong design aptitude, creative thinking, and technical depth, with the ability to translate vision into clear, actionable, and buildable outcomes.

About YOU…
? You’re a qualified Interior Architect or Architect with 6+ years' professional experience
? You’ve led residential, hospitality, or mixed-use interior projects across all stages
? You have a sharp design eye, grounded by strong technical delivery skills
? You understand the commercial pressures of development and value-engineering
? You’re highly organised, detail-focused, and proactive in solving problems
? You’re confident using UK standards and delivering RIBA Stage 4+ packages
? You can work independently while receiving creative direction and leadership guidance
? You thrive in a collaborative remote environment and take ownership of your outputs

The Role
As Senior Interior Architect, you’ll support the Founder and Lead Designer in delivering exceptional spaces across concept, technical, and procurement phases. You’ll be expected to manage your workload independently, create technically sound and visually aligned documentation, and ensure solutions are delivered on time and within budget.

You’ll play a key role in taking our design intent and turning it into clear, coordinated, and design development-ready packages.

This is a freelance or contract role, remote-first, with consistent project flow and long-term growth opportunity for the right person.

Responsibilities
? Concept & Space Planning
• Support in developing design concepts aligned with market and client goals
• Translate vision into space plans, zoning strategies, and functional layouts
• Create moodboards and visual presentations for client review

? Technical Design & Documentation
• Develop full technical drawing packages (RIBA Stage 4 equivalent), including:
– General arrangements
– Setting out plans
– Reflected ceiling plans (RCP)
– Lighting and small power layouts
– Joinery and construction details
– Finishes plans and material callouts
• Prepare specification schedules (finishes, sanitaryware, ironmongery, etc.)
• Produce cost plans/ quantity schedules to develop BoQs
• Ensure all designs comply with UK Building Regulations and property standards
• Address technical clarifications and site-related queries when required

? FF&E Design & Procurement Support
• Research and specify FF&E from UK-based suppliers
• Support with maintaining and updating procurement schedules
• Liaise with vendors and contractors to ensure spec accuracy and delivery
• Assist in final delivery in preparation for intallation

Tools & Skills — Essential
• AutoCAD – full drawing set creation
• SketchUp + Enscape (or similar) – high-quality rendering and visualisation
• Canva – for client-ready concept decks
• Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop)
• Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs, Slides)
• Ability to create bill of quantities and collaborate with QSs
• Familiarity with Asana or similar project management tools
• Strong working knowledge of UK Building Regulations and Residential Standards
***All software/app licenses must be held and maintained by the candidate.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Stable internet connection suitable for remote collaboration
• Available between 9–6 UK time (hours flexible based on deadlines)
• Able to scale availability depending on project needs (with notice)
• Comfortable working independently under creative and strategic direction
• Clear communicator with a solutions-focused, proactive attitude
