You will be responsible for quoting customers for international transport from USA to worldwide. Both via air and ocean. We are an international logistics company (freight forwarder) based in Houston. Previous experience with international freight forwarding would be very helpful. Fully remote work from your home. Contacts with USA clients, agents worldwide.
Your daily job will consist of receiving requests for quotes, finding the cost for trucking and air or ocean transport, setting the selling rates based on our guidelines and sending the completed quote to the customer. Excellent English required, especially written. Need to have love of numbers, conversions and math. The job consists of constant calculations. Hours: 7 am - 4:00 pm Houston time. Fully remote work, we provide training and equipment. You will have a coach training you and working with you daily one-to-one. Salary negotiable based on experience. Need reliable Internet, min speed 30 Mbps required, higher speed recommended. Prior experience as Virtual Assistant or a Customer Service Rep for USA or Canada company is preferred.
