WordPress Developer (Custom Theme, Animation, Site Maintenance)

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented WordPress developer to bring our new website to life using Elementor Pro. This is a project-based contract role with immediate start availability.

Project Overview

We have a fully designed responsive Figma layout for an 18-page website. You’ll be responsible for translating these into a functional, responsive WordPress site using a custom theme, with clean animations and integrations.

Scope of Work
• Develop a custom WordPress theme based on provided Figma designs
• Implement page-by-page build (total of 18 pages) using Elementor Pro
• Add smooth, modern animations as indicated in the Figma prototype
• Apply consistent styling across all pre-installed plugins:
• WooCommerce (already configured)
• LearnDash (LMS)
• BetterDocs (Documentation plugin)
• Events Calendar Pro
• Blog/Newsroom
• Ensure responsiveness across devices and browsers
• Provide support for launch and post-launch adjustments

Requirements
• Proven experience in WordPress theme development (custom themes, not just templates)
• Strong working knowledge of Elementor Pro
• Experience integrating and styling third-party plugins (especially LearnDash, WooCommerce, Events Calendar)
• Ability to work from Figma files with pixel precision
• Strong CSS, JavaScript, and animation skills
• Attention to responsive design and UX
• Familiarity with performance optimization and basic SEO

Nice to Have
• Experience with custom post types and advanced custom fields (ACF)
• Comfortable with Git/version control
• Basic understanding of server setup, caching, and backups

Deliverables
• Fully functional 18-page WordPress website using Elementor Pro
• Custom styling applied across all relevant plugin interfaces
• Site performance optimized and animations implemented
• Site reviewed and debugged before final handoff
