Position Summary:
We're searching for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Senior Finance Manager based in the Philippines to join our remote team. This role combines hands-on bookkeeping, month-end accounting activities, basic financial modeling and forecasting, preparation of Australian BAS (no income tax returns), performance reporting, and management accounting tasks. The position is fully remote, and we offer flexible arrangements for either full-time or part-time candidates.

Key Responsibilities:

Handle end-to-end bookkeeping, including bank reconciliations, invoicing, accounts payable/receivable, payroll processing, and management of client accounting inboxes.

Lead month-end close processes, preparing timely and accurate financial reports.

Perform basic financial modeling and forecasting to assist clients in strategic planning and decision-making.

Prepare Australian Business Activity Statements (BAS) (excluding income tax returns) ensuring timely and compliant lodgments.

Create and present clear, insightful monthly management reports and performance dashboards to clients.

Support senior tea ---------- mbers with CFO advisory tasks, providing valuable analysis and insights for clients.

Identify and implement process improvements and efficiencies within the finance function.



Desired Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.

Minimum 5+ years experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or finance roles; experience working with Australian businesses is highly desirable.

Prior experience preparing Australian BAS strongly preferred.

Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and reporting using Excel or similar analytical tools.

Hands-on experience with cloud accounting software such as Xero, Fathom, and possibly MYOB.

Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.

Highly organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of independently managing multiple client accounts.

Comfortable in a remote-work setting and enthusiastic about participating in an engaged, dynamic virtual team.
