AI Workflow Specialist (Agentic AI & Automation)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced AI Workflow Specialist to design, build and deploy practical AI-driven solutions that improve business processes and deliver measurable outcomes.

This role sits at the intersection of business analysis, automation, artificial intelligence and workflow design. You will work with stakeholders to identify opportunities, rapidly prototype solutions, validate outcomes with users and support the adoption of AI-powered workflows across the organisation.

You will have hands-on experience with modern AI orchestration and automation platforms and be passionate about translating business challenges into intelligent, scalable solutions.

Key Responsibilities

* Design and configure agentic workflows using modern no-code and low-code AI platforms.
* Build, test and iterate AI workflow prototypes using tools such as n8n, Flowise, Langflow, OpenAI Agent Builder or similar technologies.
* Validate prototypes with end users, capturing feedback, risks, edge cases and measures of success.
* Define appropriate controls around privacy, security, governance and human oversight within AI workflows.
* Support testing, user acceptance, release readiness and adoption activities.
* Identify process gaps, dependencies and adoption risks, helping delivery teams resolve issues before they impact outcomes.
* Create clear documentation including process maps, requirements, runbooks, support guides and training materials.
* Monitor workflow performance and recommend improvements to increase efficiency, reliability and business value.

Skills and Experience

Essential

* Experience designing and implementing AI-powered workflows and automations.
* Hands-on experience with tools such as n8n, Flowise, Langflow, OpenAI Agent Builder, Make, Zapier or similar platforms.
* Understanding of large language models, AI agents and prompt engineering concepts.
* Strong business analysis and process mapping skills.
* Experience gathering requirements and translating them into technical solutions.
* Understanding of privacy, security and governance considerations for AI systems.
* Strong documentation and communication skills.
* Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with business and technical stakeholders.

Desirable

* Experience integrating APIs and third-party business systems.
* Knowledge of vector databases, RAG architectures and AI memory systems.
* Experience with cloud platforms and modern software development practices.
* Exposure to change management, training and user adoption activities.
* Basic coding experience in Python, JavaScript or similar languages.
