Senior Automation Specialist

Motii is looking for a Senior Automation Specialist to support and lead the successful delivery of automation-heavy CRM implementation projects. You’ll work closely with our clients and internal team to gather requirements, configure automations using tools like Zapier, Make, and Pipedrive, and ensure smooth, timely delivery of each project using our proven buddy system approach.

This role is ideal for someone detail-oriented, technically skilled, and passionate about optimizing systems for efficiency and scalability. You’ll be joining a tight-knit team where collaboration, accountability, and innovation are valued daily.

What You’ll Be Doing

- Support CRM Implementation Projects: Play a central role in delivering CRM projects (primarily Pipedrive) with a strong focus on automation strategy and execution.

- Project Delivery & Ownership: Own end-to-end delivery of your assigned tasks and collaborate within a buddy system for on-time, high-quality implementation.

- Attend & Document Project Meetings: Attend project meetings, document the key decisions and action items, and help prepare or update the project board to reflect current needs and next steps.

- Weekly Progress Reporting: Provide clear weekly updates to the project leader outlining the progress made, blockers encountered, and steps taken each week.

- Client Requirement Gathering: Assist in gathering and clarifying automation and system requirements from both new and retainer clients, translating them into actionable tasks.

- Automation Tool Configuration: Build and troubleshoot workflows using tools like Zapier, Make (Integromat), Pipedrive, Pandadoc, JustCall/Aircall, and Ortto.

- Documentation & Looms: Create clear technical documentation and screen-recorded walkthroughs using Loom to support clients and internal teams.

- Cross-Team Collaboration: Maintain strong communication and alignment with a 12-member cross-functional team to ensure seamless execution across departments.

- Continuous Learning & Development: Stay updated on new features across our tech stack and be proactive in learning new tools that enhance integration capabilities.

- Bonus: Familiarity with Intercom workflows and automations for customer support or onboarding.

What We’re Looking For

- Must be able to work 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM Philippine Time
- 3–5+ years of experience in automation implementation, CRM support, or technical operations
- Strong command of Zapier, Make, and CRM systems (e.g., Pipedrive)
- Experience with Pandadoc, Ortto, JustCall, or Aircall is a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex processes in simple terms
- High attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
- Comfortable working independently in a remote environment with solid time management
- A proactive mindset for documentation and process improvement
- Comfortable collaborating via Google Meet throughout the day with our Philippine-based team we work closely, communicate often, and support each other in real time
