We are a boutique web design and digital branding agency that builds strategic, high-converting websites for professionals and small businesses. We craft websites that elevate brands, build trust, and attract the right clients. As we continue to grow, we’re expanding into social media management, marketing automation, and sales support.
We’re looking for a Virtual Assistant with a strong digital marketing background to help promote our services, attract quality leads, and support client onboarding. This role is perfect for someone who’s proactive, takes ownership of projects, and thrives on helping clients succeed.
Role Overview
The Virtual Assistant will initially focus on marketing activities and supporting our core web design business, with responsibilities expanding into marketing, sales, and administrative tasks as we scale. You will work closely with the founder, collaborating on design projects, client communication, and operational tasks to ensure a smooth workflow.
Your primary mission is to drive awareness and generate inquiries through strategic social media campaigns, compelling content creation, and well-structured marketing funnels. This includes:

• Designing promotional assets and branded materials.
• Building landing pages and crafting
• Supporting lead management, ensuring prospects are guided smoothly through the conversion process.
Experience with Wix (for site updates and edits), Calendly (for scheduling), and Google Workspace (for collaborative work) is essential.
Key Responsibilities
Social Media & Content Creation
• Develop and execute a social media calendar across
• Create engaging posts, stories and videos aligned with our brand voice; write compelling captions and calls to action.
• Use Canva and graphic design tools to design eye catching visuals, infographics and carousel posts.
• Edit and produce short marketing videos or reels to showcase client work, behind the scenes processes or educational tips.
• Engage with followers by responding to comments, DMs and mentions to build community and trust.
Web Design Support
• Assist with website builds (Wix, Squarespace or similar), including page setup, basic customization, plugin updates, QA and simple graphic edits.
• Update existing websites with new copy, images or blog posts; perform basic SEO tasks such as adding meta descriptions and alt text.
• Design landing pages and lead capture forms within Wix or integrated landing page builders to promote discovery calls, paid resources or freebies.
Lead Generation & Funnel Management
• Set up

• Track lead sources and campaign performance; compile weekly reports on new leads, conversion rates and ROI.
• Assist with creating lead magnets (e.g., PDFs, checklists, eBooks).
Operations & Admin
• Manage calendars, schedule appointments and coordinate meetings with clients.
• Track project progress, update task lists and prepare weekly status reports.
• Handle client onboarding documentation.
• Support automation projects using tools like Zapier or Notion to streamline internal processes.
• Build and optimise Google Workspace documents, spreadsheets and presentations for marketing plans and reporting.
• Assist in onboarding new clients: prepare proposals, collect questionnaires, set up project folders in Google Drive.
• Maintain an organised library of marketing assets, templates and SOPs.
Future Growth
• As our services grow, take ownership of content calendars, analytics and client reporting.
• Assist with marketing automation (e.g.,
• Provide sales support by responding to inquiries, sending proposals and tracking follow ups.
• Help manage additional VAs or freelancers as the team expands.
Skills & Qualifications
• Proven experience as a virtual assistant, digital marketing, social media management or junior web designer; familiarity with Wix.
• 1–3 years’ experience in digital marketing, social media management or a similar role.
• Proven ability to create and edit content for
• Proficiency with Canva (or similar design tools) for graphics, and basic video editing software (e.g., CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro).
• Familiarity with Wix (or willingness to learn quickly), Calendly, Google Workspace and marketing automation tools.
• Understanding of landing page design,
• Basic knowledge of SEO, Google Analytics and
• Excellent English communication skills, strong copywriting ability and attention to detail.
• Reliable internet connection and comfort working remotely with minimal supervision.
Hours & Compensation
• This is a remote independent contractor role, starting at 25–30 hours per week, with potential to grow into a full-time position.
• Starting rate: US $5–6 per hour, based on experience and skills.
• Growth: Performance reviews at 3–6 months with potential rate increases for strong contributors.
