Provider Balance Verification Specialist – Personal Injury

•Work with 3rd party providers to confirm balances on patient accounts.
• Obtain breakdown of payment on patient account.
• Proficient in navigating medical records retrieval platforms, including ChartSwap, CIOX, Sharecare, and others.
• Use basic math skills to ensure any payments, adjustments, and balances equal the total cost given by the provider.
• Input all balances, payments, and adjustments fro ---------- dical bills into the system.
• Confirm any balances that have been sent to collection and obtain collection information when necessary.
• Confirm any balances has been put on a lien by the provider.
• Communicate with Paralegal to give update on the case and the status of needed documents.
• Complete timely follow-ups on all requests to providers to ensure documents are received as quickly as possible.
