We’re looking for a reliable freelance video editor to help bring history videos to life. You’ll be responsible for editing full-length videos (around 30 minutes each) using provided scripts and voiceovers. The editing is simple and consistent. Usually, the first minute has the most editing, and after that, it's mostly still images with simple transitions. The images are AI images. You’ll also be expected to create matching thumbnails based on provided references.

What You’ll Be Doing:
Edit 1 video every 3 days using the provided scripts and voiceovers from our team
Generate your own AI images to illustrate scenes (I will provide you with an Ideogram account or you can use Google Whisk or use your own AI image tool)
Directly upload the video to the Youtube channel (you'll be granted editor access)
Design thumbnails that match the video’s tone and provided style references
Submit and track your tasks through Trello
Accept and implement feedback for ongoing improvement
Maintain visual consistency across videos and thumbnails
Requirements:
Experience with video editing software (Premiere, CapCut, DaVinci Resolve, etc.) I can provide you with CapCut Pro if needed
Thumbnail creation skills (Photoshop, Canva, etc.)
Experience with AI image generation, specifically images in both a realistic and historical style (Ideogram, Midjourney, Leonardo AI, etc)
Ability to follow directions and meet deadlines consistently
Able to complete 1 full video every 3 days
Strong communication and time management skills (We'll use Trello and
Compensation:
$20 per completed video
Expected earnings: $40/week, $160/month
