About the Role
We’re looking for an experienced Google Ads Specialist to take the lead on paid advertising efforts across multiple brands, with a strong focus on lead generation. This role is perfect for someone who can work independently, optimise ad spend, and drive high-quality inbound leads, primarily for industrial and commercial B2B markets.
You’ll manage and optimise existing Google Ads campaigns, recommend improvements, and provide a roadmap for performance growth. You’ll also play a supporting role in SEO strategy, reporting, and site performance analysis, though the primary emphasis will be on generating qualified leads through paid channels.
Key Responsibilities
- Take full ownership of Google Ads accounts, including audits, budget optimisation, campaign rebuilds, and performance tracking
- Drive consistent and measurable lead generation results for B2B clients in warehousing, transport, and manufacturing sectors
- Conduct keyword research, competitor analysis, and A/B testing of ads and landing pages
- Deliver weekly and monthly reports with clear insights and recommendations
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders and third-party contractors on campaign goals and timelines
- Create and maintain documentation and SOPs as needed
- Support SEO efforts with high-level audits and strategy input where appropriate

Required Skills & Experience
- 6+ years experience in performance marketing, with a strong emphasis on Google Ads
- Proven success managing B2B lead generation campaigns
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and act on insights
- Familiarity with creating and interpreting monthly performance reports
- Clear communicator and self-starter who thrives in remote, asynchronous environments
- Familiarity with SEO principles and keyword strategies
What Success Looks Like
- Increased inbound leads from Google Ads (target: 15+ per week)
- Cost per lead reduced or stabilised below current benchmarks
- Clear, actionable reporting delivered monthly (PDF or Looker Studio)
