Lead Generation VA

I’m the founder of a boutique marketing agency based in Toronto, and I’m currently scaling fast. I’m looking for a reliable, strategic virtual assistant to help me with lead generation and outreach, researching freelance opportunities, startup brands, or companies seeking marketing support, and compiling that information into a clean tracker and managing contacting.

You’ll help me focus on closing clients and building strategy while you handle the research and sourcing side.

Responsibilities:

Research high-quality freelance/project opportunities on platforms like LinkedIn, Indeed, Upwork, etc.

Find brands and business owners that align with our services (social media, branding, content marketing, etc.)

Record leads in a shared tracker with full info (job post, company/brand, contact info, why it’s a fit)

Draft short outreach messages or emails based on templates provided

Avoid irrelevant, spammy, or low-quality leads. I’m looking for legit opportunities I can confidently apply to

What I’m Looking For:

Strong attention to detail — no “spray and pray” leads

Experience with lead generation, data entry, or marketing VA work

Able to follow instructions but also suggest improvements if needed

Strong English reading and writing skills

Familiarity with LinkedIn, Google Sheets, and basic marketing terms

Bonus: Interest in social media, branding, or online business!

Compensation:

This is NOT commission-based — you’ll be paid a consistent hourly rate

Additional bonuses will be offered for qualified leads that result in closed clients

Paid trial task required before hiring — to assess quality of research and attention to detail

Part-time to start (approx. 5–10 hours/week), with the potential to grow into more hours and responsibility based on your performance and as the business scales
