TikTok Short Form Video Editor + Script Writer

FULL-TIME Short-Form Video Editor & TikTok Shop Copywriter (35 hours/week)

Are you a talented short-form video editor who understands not just how to edit, but how to SELL on TikTok Shop?

We’re looking for a creative powerhouse who can combine expert editing skills with strategic TikTok Shop copywriting to help achieve viral success and drive sales as an affiliate marketer on TikTok Shop.

Your Responsibilities:
- Analyse top-performing TikTok Shop videos to identify trends, hooks, and winning creative styles.
- Write engaging, persuasive video scripts optimised for TikTok Shop (including visual, verbal, and text hooks).
- Edit high-quality short-form videos that stop the scroll and drive conversions.
- Write compelling captions and perform hashtag research tailored to TikTok Shop audiences & campaigns.
- Schedule and manage content publishing.
- Assist with general admin tasks.

Your Video Editing Skills:
You should know how to:
- Cut dead space for maximum pacing and engagement.
- Apply seamless transitions and dynamic effects.
- Add text overlays, image overlays, and engaging visual elements.
- Import and sync voiceovers and sounds effectively.
- Optimise videos for TikTok Shop’s specific goals (attention retention, engagement, and driving sales).

Understanding of TikTok Shop-specific creative is essential. You should know why using strong hooks and storytelling is critical to capturing attention and converting viewers into buyers.

Preferred experience (but not essential) with these tools:
- CapCut
- WeTransfer
- Google Workspace
- Metricool
