Virtual Assistant – Influencer & Streamer Outreach for Music Promotion

I'm seeking a proactive and well-organized Virtual Assistant to help promote emerging Toronto-based (Canada) hip-hop artist Joshay through outreach to micro?influencers, nano?influencers, and streamers across platforms like YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Twitch, Discord, Reddit, and Spotify. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, familiarity with social media influencers, and a track record of coordinating promotional campaigns.

Responsibilities:

Influencer/Steamer Research & Outreach
Identify relevant micro- and nano-influencers and streamers whose audience aligns with Joshay’s musical style. Reach out with personalized pitches and coordinate collaborations.

Campaign Coordination
Schedule review sessions, manage deliverables (e.g. music promos, links, briefing documents), and ensure timely content creation and posting.

Content Engagement & Amplification
Monitor and engage with influencer content once published - share, comment, thank the creators - to amplify reach.

CRM / Tracking
Maintain a spreadsheet or project management tool with outreach status, campaign progress, results, and key engagement metrics.

Reporting & Optimization
Provide weekly reports on outreach efforts, content performance (views, likes, comments), and feedback. Proactively suggest adjustments to improve reach.

Qualifications
- Proven experience in influencer outreach, media campaigns, or community management.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
- Familiarity with YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Twitch, Spotify, and other relevant music promotion platforms.
- Excellent organization, time management, and attention to detail.
- Proactive, self?motivated, and reliable in securing responses and managing deadlines.
- Basic knowledge of media tracking tools, Google Sheets, and/or CRM platforms.
- Passion for music and understanding of what makes content shareable and engaging.
