Javascript Developer (Node.js / Docker)

Required:

- Strong foundation in Javascript
- Strong experience with Node.js
- Experience building scalable back-end APIs, deep understanding of building performant, maintainable and secure code
- Proficient with nosql databases (mongodb, rethinkdb, couchdb, elasticsearch)
- Experience with git
- Familiar with *nix based systems, comfortable in the terminal and SSH
- Experience with docker and container orchestration
- Ability to be independent and self-motivated in a remote model
- Interest in learning new technologies, new frameworks, and experiment with new ideas

Good to have:

- Familiar with Docker.
- Familiar with Ionic framework
- Familiar with Server management and web servers (Ubuntu, Docker, Nginx).

Additional Requirements:

- High Speed net. Lots of Skype, commits etc. (Backup internet ideal)
- Fluent in English both written and conversational

This is a 100% remote position.
You will be required to work full-time during standard Asia Pacific hours.
