JOB DESCRIPTION

Title: Video Content & Social Media Assistant
Division / Business Unit: Marketing / Content Production
Reports to: CEO (Adrian Reid), Enlightened Stock Trading
Location: Remote (Virtual Assistant)

Purpose:
As the Video Content & Social Media Assistant, your primary responsibility is to produce, repurpose, and publish high-quality video content that aligns with the Enlightened Stock Trading brand and mission. You will edit both long-form and short-form video assets for educational use, social media, YouTube, and our members' area. You will also help manage our YouTube channel and ensure consistent, optimized publishing to drive engagement and brand awareness. Your work helps our content reach and impact more traders globally.

Key Responsibilities:
- Video Editing & Production
- Edit raw video footage into long-form educational content and short-form marketing clips.
- Ensure logical sequencing, smooth transitions, and high visual/audio quality.
- Add subtitles, captions, graphics, overlays, and branding elements.
- Produce and package videos for multiple platforms (YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Kajabi).
- Create video snippets from training sessions, webinars, and coaching calls.
- Content Repurposing & Social Media Snippets
- Extract and edit engaging highlights from longer videos to repurpose into social media-ready content.
- Prepare optimized versions for YouTube Shorts, Reels, Stories, and square feed posts.
- Follow established naming conventions, file structures, and publishing SOPs.
- YouTube Channel Management
- Upload and schedule videos to the EST YouTube channel.
- Optimize video titles, descriptions, tags, chapters, and thumbnails for maximum reach.
- Maintain playlists and channel layout to improve content discoverability.
- Monitor video performance metrics and suggest improvements.
- Content Library Maintenance
- Maintain a clean, well-organized shared folder system for all video assets.
- Archive and label footage according to campaign, format, and usage.
- Ensure all published content meets brand guidelines and quality standards.
- Manage social media content calendar, plan calendar 30 days in advance and work with graphic designer to produce graphics to support social media posts

Tools You Will Use:
- Descript (primary editing tool)
- Final Cut Pro or similar for more advanced cuts (optional)
- YouTube Studio
- ChatGPT for Descriptions / Titles
- Google Drive / Shared Drive (file management)
- Canva or similar (thumbnail creation – optional)
- Scheduling tools like Hootsuite / Content Studio and native platforms (for social media publishing)

Success Metrics:
- Increase in clicks to website from social media (especially YouTube)
- Number of videos produced and published per week/month
- Reduction in required re-edits or revisions
- Growth in YouTube metrics (subscribers, click rate, views, likes, retention rate)
- Timeliness of publishing to content calendar
- Increased engagement on short-form content (reels, snippets)

Skills & Qualifications:
- 2+ years experience in video editing and content repurposing for social media/YouTube
- Strong knowledge of Descript (Essential - all our video editing is done in Descript)
- Understanding of social media video formats and platform requirements
- Strong eye for detail, timing, and storytelling
- Excellent time management and ability to meet publishing deadlines
- FLUENT English essential and strong communication skills (written & verbal)
- Reliable internet and computer setup for editing and uploading

Bonus Skill #1: Understanding of stock trading/finance or interest in the niche
Bonus Skill #2: Wordpress management / post creation
