We’re eWebsites, an award-winning SEO and web design agency based in Melbourne. We help professional service businesses (lawyers, buyers advocates, health professionals) grow through high-converting websites and Google traffic. We serve clients across Australia and build exclusively on WordPress, using Divi (95%) and Elementor (5%).
ABOUT THE ROLE
We're looking for a part-time WordPress Developer (20 hrs/week) who’s highly skilled in Divi, detail-obsessed, and can follow instructions to the letter.
You’ll be responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of client WordPress websites, ensuring seamless integration with third-party services.
This role is ideal for someone who:
Has strong Divi/Elementor experience (3-5+ years)
Understands how to follow detailed instructions
Communicates clearly and takes ownership
Is available daily from 2:00pm- 6:00 pm AEST (Mel time)
THE DAY-TO-DAY
WordPress Development – Build, manage, and debug WordPress sites with Divi. Migrate existing WordPress or other CMS sites to WPX from third-party hosts (our hosting platform). Perform weekly maintenance via ManageWP software (them/plugin updates, security checks, visual inspections, page speed tests, etc).
DNS & Hosting – Configure domains in Cloudflare, integrate with WPX, set up staging environments, and install SSL certificates.
Third-Party Integrations – Set up GoHighLevel, Google Analytics 4, Search Console, Cloudflare, Zapier, and API connections.
Website Design – Create website mockups based on a client’s logo and branding.
Technical SEO – Improve page speed, fix 404 errors, implement 301 redirects, and resolve technical SEO issues (detailed SOPs provided).
Landing Page Development – Build campaign-specific landing pages with on-site SEO and content implementation.
Process Optimisation – Follow company SOPs and suggest improvements to streamline workflows.
Internal Communication – Provide updates via Asana (project management) and Slack for urgent tasks.
EDUCATION, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Web Development: 3-5 years of professional WordPress development experience is a must (Divi + Elementor)
Web Design - Proven work experience as a web designer with a strong portfolio.
Proven experience taking websites live (DNS, hosting, SSL configuration)
SEO - Solid understanding of technical SEO best practices
Education – A College degree with a focus on Computer Science or Business Management is preferred.
Attention to Detail - Focused attention to detail, excellent organisational and project management skills with the ability to multitask and work well under pressure and tight timelines is required for this position.
Problem-Solving - An advanced drive to identify problems and proactively test and implement solutions is required.
Passion/Attitude - Up-to-date with the latest web trends, techniques, and technologies. A willingness to work in a collaborative environment and go the extra mile.
Communication: Excellent English communication (written + spoken)
Bonus: Experience with a digital marketing agency is a plus

This is a remote position that requires a stable, high-speed internet connection.
Initial Hours: 20 per week (potential to grow)
Rate: Starting at 10 USD
Availability: Melbourne Time 2:00 PM - 6:00 PM (AEST) / Manila Time 12:00 AM - 4:00 PM (this can be 3 or 2 hours depending on the daylight saving)
