The Role:
We are seeking a reliable and highly organized Virtual Production Assistant to be the engine of our content creation process. Your primary role will be to take raw content (videos, notes) and manage the process of turning it into polished, published material on our YouTube channel and WordPress website.
You will NOT be responsible for answering customer
Primary Responsibilities:
YouTube Channel Management:
Receive raw video files from me (seminars, "how-to" videos).
Coordinate with a freelance video editor to get the videos professionally edited (you will manage the editor; you don't have to do the editing).
Write compelling, SEO-friendly titles and descriptions for videos based on templates we create together.
Create simple, professional thumbnails for videos using a tool like Canva.
Upload the final video files to YouTube, complete all metadata, and schedule them for release.
WordPress Website Management:
Take formatted text (blog posts, articles based on my seminar notes) and create new posts in WordPress.
Format the posts for readability (headings, bullet points, bold text).
Source and add relevant stock photos or images to posts.
Implement basic on-page SEO (titles, meta descriptions) using instructions and content I provide.
Project Coordination:
Act as the point of contact for other freelancers, such as our video editor and potentially a web developer for minor site updates.
Keep projects organized and ensure deadlines are met.
Who We're Looking For:
Highly Organized & Detail-Oriented: You love checklists and making sure every step in a process is completed perfectly.
Reliable & Independent: You can take a task and run with it without needing constant supervision.
Experienced with WordPress: You are comfortable creating and formatting blog posts.
Familiar with YouTube: You understand the basics of uploading videos and filling out the description and title fields.
Excellent English Communication Skills: Your writing is clear and professional.
Bonus Points (Not Required): Experience with Canva for image creation, basic knowledge of SEO principles.
