Excel Rota Builder (Remote – Project-Based)

We’re a UK-based dental group looking for a reliable, experienced Excel expert to build a rota (schedule) system that helps us track staffing across multiple dental clinics.

???? What you’ll be doing:

Create a rota in Excel that shows:

Which dentists and nurses are working at each practice daily

Which surgeries (rooms) are in use or free

Staff availability and coverage gaps

Any spare capacity across the team

Use formulas, drop-downs, conditional formatting, and simple dashboards

Build a tool that is easy to use and can be updated weekly by our team

???? Requirements:

Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, conditional formatting)

Strong eye for layout and usability

Experience in rota building, scheduling, or staff planning

Can deliver the full project within 7 days

Bonus if you’ve worked with healthcare or shift-based teams
