Job Title: Remote Bookkeeper / Virtual CPA (QuickBooks + Personal Finance Support) – Part-Time

We’ve got an outstanding Executive Virtual Assistant in the Philippines and are now looking for our next long-term hire: a trustworthy, detail-oriented Bookkeeper or CPA.
Job Summary:
This is a part-time, long-term, remote position for an experienced Bookkeeper or CPA who is confident working in QuickBooks Online and comfortable managing both business and personal financial data.
You’ll organize and maintain clean, accurate books for our business, generate weekly and monthly reports, and help the owner stay financially organized with personal spending and budgeting. You’ll work directly with our U.S.-based owners and our CPA.

Key Responsibilities:
****Business Bookkeeping
• Maintain and reconcile transactions in QuickBooks Online
• Categorize income and expenses using U.S.-based tax logic
• Prepare monthly P&L, Cash Flow, and Balance Sheet reports
• Track contractor payouts, technician reimbursements, and average cost and margin per transaction
• Keep the books audit-ready and coordinate with our U.S. CPA as needed
****Personal Finance Organization
• Track and categorize personal income and expenses (via linked bank accounts)
• Organize reimbursements, business/personal splits, and family expenses
• Provide weekly and monthly reports on personal spending, savings, and trends
• Assist with ad hoc tasks (insurance, renovation costs, investment tracking, etc.)
****Financial Oversight & Reporting
• Provide weekly updates and flag inconsistencies or trends
• Help improve financial systems and cost tracking
• Offer insights or summaries to support financial planning
Qualifications:
• 2+ years experience in QuickBooks Online
• Experience working with U.S.-based clients (California is a bonus)
• Strong written and spoken English skills (minimal accent preferred)
• Familiar with U.S. tax logic and business expense categorization
• Comfortable with spreadsheets (Google Sheets, Excel, etc.)
• High level of attention to detail and data accuracy
• Strong time management and independent work ethic
Bonus Points (Not Required but Nice to Have):
• CPA certification (PH or U.S.) or QuickBooks Certification
• Experience supporting U.S. tax preparation (documentation, not filing)
• Familiarity with Empower / Personal Capital / Mint
• Prior experience supporting a business owner or founder
• Able to assist with budgeting, forecasting, or light financial planning
Work Schedule & Details:
• Part-Time: 6–10 hours per week to start (may grow over time)
• Flexible Schedule: Just be available for some overlap with U.S. time zone
• Remote: Fully work-from-home
• Pay: Competitive, based on experience and skill level
