JOB OVERVIEW

Hi! I'm a career coach who creates educational short-form content to help professionals level up their careers. I publish on Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok, mixing short videos, static posts, and stories.
My content is in Spanish, but you don’t need to speak Spanish to do this job -- just strong video editing skills, visual intuition, and an understanding of how to edit engaging content even if you don’t know what’s being said.

What You’ll Do
Your job is to manage and grow my content output across platforms, with a focus on video editing and social media posting. You’ll:
* Edit 2–3 short videos per week (60–90 seconds each) from raw, unscripted Spanish footage.
-- Remove bad takes, stutters, and filler.
-- Add subtitles (with tools like CapCut, VEED, Descript, etc.)
-- Insert light B-roll, emojis, GIFs, or visual effects to make the video dynamic.
* Design 2–3 static posts per week, such as:
-- Quote cards
-- Carousels
-- Tips or insights based on ideas I provide
* Schedule and post content 3–5x/week across Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok. We have an app we use to manage all that on a single platform.
* Post daily stories, using a mix of repurposed content, Canva templates, and light trending content.

What You Don’t Need to Do
- You don’t need to speak or understand Spanish.
- You don’t need to come up with content ideas to start -- I’ll provide most scripts and concepts.
- You don’t need to reply to DMs or comments (but if you like that stuff, we can discuss adding it later).

What You Should Be Good At
- Social media video editing (Reels, Shorts, TikToks)
- Trimming, subtitling, and enhancing raw footage -- even when you don’t speak the language.
- Visual/audio cues (pauses, tone, expressions)
- Auto-generated captions (CapCut, Descript, Premiere)
- Transcripts (if needed)
- Design tools (Canva, Photoshop, or similar)
- Using schedulers like Meta Business Suite, Later, Metricool, etc.

Must-Have Experience
- At least 1 year of social video editing (preferably short-form)
- A portfolio of real content (Reels, TikToks, or Shorts) you’ve edited
- Able to follow visual storytelling without relying on language
- Knows how to create content that feels native to social platforms
- Can meet deadlines without constant check-ins

Bonus Points
- Experience editing videos in languages you don’t speak
- Worked with coaches, creators, or service businesses before
- Strong eye for hooks, pacing, and layout
- Familiarity with English/Spanish subtitles and subtitle formatting

To Apply
Please include:
- A link to your portfolio or examples of short-form video edits.
- A few static posts or carousels you’ve made.
- A quick note about your workflow: tools you use, your turnaround time, and what platforms you’ve managed.
- Answer this question: “You’re editing a Spanish video you don’t understand. How do you d ---------- what to cut, how to add B-roll, and where to put subtitles or visual effects? Walk me through your approach.”

Working Hours & Pay
- Part-time to start (10–20 hours/week), flexible schedule. Could increase, as I have other business.
- Must meet weekly content deadlines.
- Starting pay: $250 USD per month (you set expectations in your application). Pay will increase based on performance
