About Us:

We’re a high-end boutique construction company based in Tasmania, Australia. We specialise in full home renovations and bathroom renovations. Our reputation is built on clear communication, solid systems, and creating an outstanding experience for homeowners.

We're looking for a Virtual Estimator to join our friendly and growing team. If you’ve previously worked with Australian builders and are experienced with platforms like Wunderbuild, Buildxact, or ClickUp — we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

? Create new estimates using Wunderbuild or Buildxact
? Follow our step-by-step estimating workflow to complete full quantity takeoffs
? Amend and update estimates during the preliminary phase as client scope evolves
? Communicate with the internal team via ClickUp — complete tasks and assign follow-ups
? Request quotes from subcontractors and suppliers, and follow up to ensure timely responses
? Work closely with the builder and project team to ensure estimates reflect actual build methods and material preferences
? Suggest improvements to our internal estimating systems and workflows
? Prepare detailed BOQs and documentation for internal review

What You’ll Need:

????? 3+ years experience estimating for residential construction (preferably with Australian builders)
????? Proficiency in Wunderbuild, Buildxact, or similar estimating software
????? Familiarity with ClickUp or other task management tools
????? Attention to detail and strong numerical skills
????? Fluent English communication skills (written + spoken)
????? Construction knowledge and confidence interpreting architectural drawings, engineering, and spec sheets
????? Ability to work independently and stick to deadlines
????? Availability for approx. 10–15 hours per week, with some overlap during Tasmania mornings

A Note on How We Hire:

We’re personally involved in the hiring process and will be interviewing shortlisted applicants directly. We also work alongside a trusted PH-based agency to help with administration and support during the recruitment process.

You will be paid market-aligned rates directly by us. The agency does not take a cut from your pay — instead, we pay the agency a small service fee on top of your rate to help us manage hiring and compliance. We’re transparent about this to ensure trust from day one.
