Video Editor

We’re looking for a remote video editor to support our lead editor with highlight packages from local Aussie Rules football and netball games filmed in Melbourne, Australia.

This is not a full-time role — hours will vary week to week depending on game volume and editing load. Ideal for a freelance editor looking to pick up consistent, flexible work throughout the footy season (April–October).

What You’ll Be Doing:
Assisting our lead editor by cutting highlight reels from full-game footage
Using Premiere Pro for core edits, and After Effects for score graphics, titles, etc.
Following existing templates, style guides, and pacing formats
Working with a quick turnaround (within 24–48 hours when needed)
Sharing and receiving files via Google Drive or Dropbox
be able to review footage to get highlights and know what is good to put in

What We’re Looking For:
Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects
Experience editing sports footage or fast-paced action
A good eye for pace, timing, and clean transitions
Reliable communication and responsiveness
Must be comfortable with as-needed freelance work (not guaranteed hours)

Able to work in line with Melbourne (AEST) time zone and also own hours
