Shopify & Social Media Assistant

We're seeking a skilled Shopify and social media assistant to support our growing cleantech e-commerce business.
This role combines technical Shopify development with strategic social media management and email marketing expertise.

Key Responsibilities
Shopify Development & Management
Configure and optimize Shopify store functionality
Integrate third-party apps for enhanced customer experience
Manage product listings, inventory, and order processing
Implement conversion optimization strategies
Troubleshoot technical issues and maintain site performance
Set up and manage dropshipping integrations
Install and configure Shopify apps for marketing, analytics, and operations
Set up tracking and analytics tools
Execute email marketing campaigns
Create automated email sequences (welcome, abandoned cart, post-purchase)
Manage subscriber lists and segmentation
Develop newsletter content aligned with brand messaging
Track and optimize email performance metrics

Social Media Management
Create and schedule content across multiple platforms
Develop social media strategy aligned with business goals
Monitor engagement and respond to customer inquiries
Collaborate with content team on visual and written assets
Analyze social media performance and provide insights
Required Qualifications

Technical Skills
1+ years experience with Shopify platform
Proven experience integrating Shopify apps and third-party tools
Proficiency with email marketing platforms (Klaviyo, Mailchimp, etc.)
Knowledge of social media management tools (Hootsuite, Buffer, etc.)
Basic HTML/CSS knowledge preferred
Experience with Google Analytics and Facebook Pixel
Marketing & Content Skills
Strong understanding of e-commerce conversion optimization
Experience with newsletter design and email automation
Social media content creation and strategy development
Knowledge of SEO best practices for e-commerce
Ability to analyze performance metrics and adjust strategies
Soft Skills
Excellent written and verbal communication
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
Problem-solving mindset with technical troubleshooting abilities
Familiarity with cleantech or health/wellness industries (preferred)
