We are a well-established e-commerce brand based in Germany, generating over €5 million in annual revenue. We are currently looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Amazon listing image designer to support us on a long-term, project-based basis.
The collaboration will be structured around individual projects: we assign design tasks separately per product or content module. As a starting point, we’d like to commission a main image for one of our garden chairs. This image will serve as a quality benchmark for further cooperation.
We sell exclusively on Amazon Germany, where visual compliance rules are becoming increasingly strict.
Specifically:
- Amazon now rejects most images containing banners, badges, or floating overlays.
- The only accepted exceptions are graphical elements that appear to be physically part of the product, such as:
-> Labels printed on packaging
-> Hangtags or stitched product tags
-> USP messages displayed on the packaging box in the image
We’re looking for a designer who can develop visually strong, conversion-optimized, and fully compliant images, ideally with creative solutions like:
Packaging placed behind or beside the product, showing key USPs
Integrated ambient backgrounds or illustrative context
Smart layout that highlights product benefits without violating policies
We always provide a clear and structured briefing, including examples of what’s acceptable and what has previously been rejected by Amazon. However, we expect you to bring your own creative ideas and a strong design eye, especially in situations where we’re pushing boundaries.
This is not a one-off job. If the collaboration works well and the results meet our expectations, we are looking forward to extending the cooperation to:
- Additional listing images (infographics, lifestyle images, etc.)
- A+ Content (EBC) modules
- Brand Store banners and graphics
- Potentially even packaging concepts
We value reliability, high creativity, strong visual precision, and open communication.
We are also willing to pay well for exceptional work, but we are specifically looking for a designer who can deliver on an extremely high level of quality.
