SEO Content Manager (Full-Time, Remote)

Work Hours: Preferably mornings in MST (Mountain Standard Time)
Location: Work from home (Philippines)

We’re YEG Digital — a web design and SEO agency in Canada. We work with local businesses to help them get found online, grow their traffic, and win more leads. We’re a small, focused team that values clear communication, steady progress, and doing work that matters.

Who We’re Looking For
We’re hiring an SEO Content Manager to own the full content process for our clients. That means writing new content, improving existing pages, and making sure everything you create is useful, on-brand, and ranks in Google.

You should:

- Write and speak perfect Canadian English (no spelling or grammar issues)
- Know how to research and write content that’s helpful and SEO-friendly
- Be fluent with AI writing tools and know how to guide them (not just copy-paste)
- Follow content briefs closely — but also use your head and creativity
- Be a stickler for quality — you care about what goes live
- Communicate clearly in Basecamp and Slack
- Be okay working in MST mornings so we can stay connected
- Take feedback well, work independently, and hit deadlines

Your Daily & Monthly Tasks
You’ll be responsible for writing and optimizing content that moves rankings and gets results. This includes:

Google Business Manager Tasks
- Refine categories and write descriptions for each GBP location (one-time setup)
- Create weekly scheduled posts for each location (1x/month)
- Reply to all new reviews (monthly)
- Upload new photos from Basecamp to Google Business (monthly)

Content Management Tasks
- Write all blog posts and service pages, optimize with SurferSEO, and publish in WordPress
- Use Surfer Audits to improve and update older pages
- Optimize titles, meta descriptions, and on-page content
- Use RankMath to improve content scores and implement changes
- Follow client briefs and SEO checklists with creativity and care
- Work with the team to track progress and improve rankings month after month
