JOB OVERVIEW

Location: Remote (must overlap with EST hours)
Type: Full-Time- NO FREELANCERS/CONTRACTORS

About the Role:
We’re looking for a sharp, detail-oriented Personal Assistant to support a fast-paced digital communications strategist managing multiple clients and content platforms. This isn’t your average assistant role—you’ll be the right-hand person helping drive workflow, ensure smooth coordination of content, and keep both personal and client-facing digital projects on track. If you thrive in organized chaos, love details, and have a sharp editorial eye, keep reading.

Responsibilities:

Content Workflow Management:
- Support coordination across all staff and collaborators to ensure timely delivery of content for personal and client platforms
- Assist in streamlining production workflows and content calendars
- Help manage timelines and deliverables, acting as a checkpoint for progress

Content & Admin Support:
- Review, edit, and polish content before final approval
- Handle ad hoc tasks including research, data entry, copyediting, and project coordination
- Serve as a second set of eyes to catch errors, inconsistencies, or missed opportunities

Editorial & Trend Insight:
- Conduct ongoing media monitoring to identify timely topics for content creation
- Suggest compelling and relevant content ideas aligned with brand and client goals
- Stay up to date on news, cultural trends, and political narratives

Quality Control & Communication:
- Ensure a high level of detail and accuracy in all work
- Communicate proactively and clearly about project statuses, blockers, and needs
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism across all responsibilities

Qualifications:
- 1–2 years of experience in digital content, social media, communications, or administrative support (internship experience counts!)
- Impeccable attention to detail and editorial instincts
- Strong organizational and time-management skills—you love a good system or checklist
- Excellent written communication
- Familiarity with political, social justice, or advocacy communications is a plus
- Comfort with digital tools like Google Workspace, Slack, Notion, or similar project management tools

Bonus Points If You:
- Have experience with digital content review or social media management
- Interest in growing into a Digital Brand Manager or Executive Manager
- Are deeply plugged into political media, social trends, or nonprofit comms
- Experience working with values-aligned brands (faith, politics, lifestyle, or social justice).
- Familiarity with video editing tools (CapCut, Premiere, Canva, Kapwing) or graphic design platforms.
- Strong writing skills for captions, scripts, or email content.
- A sense of humor and a passion for using content to shift narratives.

???? Please Note
This is a full-time, internal position — not a freelance or side gig opportunity. The role begins as a 6-month contract to transition into a long-term hire. We’re looking for someone fully dedicated to this work and vision, not splitting time across multiple clients or freelance projects.
If you’re a freelancer or currently managing multiple contracts, we kindly ask that you do not apply. This role requires focused, consistent collaboration and deep investment in the content and mission we’re building.

Hiring Process
We’re aiming for a clear and efficient process. Here’s what to expect:

1. Initial Alignment Call (15 minutes) – A quick call to confirm alignment on expectations, capacity, and goals.

2. Content Concept/Writing Assignment – Candidates who move forward will complete a short, practical assignment to assess writing, content thinking, and alignment with the brand voice and mission.

3. Final Interview (30–45 minutes) – A deeper conversation to talk through the role, working relationship, and mutual fit.

4. Offer Letter Sent – The selected candidate will receive a formal offer and onboarding details to begin the 6-month contract.

If this timeline works for you and the role sounds like a fit, we’re excited to meet you! The start date is negotiable and subject to change depending on how many applicants we receive.

How to Apply
If this sounds like your kind of role, send your resume and portfolio (or relevant samples of social/digital work), along with a brief statement about why you’re a great fit. Include any political or lifestyle content you’ve helped shape — we’d love to see it.
