JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Pipeline Engineer to support the planning, design, and construction supervision of urban sewerage and environmental infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing pipeline systems, supervising construction activities, and ensuring the quality and integrity of sewer network installations in compliance with technical standards and environmental regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
Conduct planning and detailed design of sewerage and drainage pipeline networks, including hydraulic modeling, alignment, and sizing.

Review technical drawings, specifications, and BOQs (Bill of Quantities) related to sewer network design.

Supervise construction activities to ensure compliance with approved designs, safety standards, and quality control procedures.

Coordinate with architects, civil engineers, environmental experts, and contractors throughout the design and construction phases.

Perform site inspections and provide technical guidance during construction and commissioning of sewer pipelines and related infrastructure.

Prepare and review reports, work progress updates, and documentation for project stakeholders and regulatory bodies.

Identify potential risks and provide mitigation strategies related to pipeline alignment, environmental impact, and construction feasibility.

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, or a related field.


Experience Requirements:
Minimum of 5–10 years of professional experience in the urban environmental or sewerage sector.

Proven track record in at least one (1) project involving the design or construction supervision of sewer network systems.

Hands-on experience with hydraulic modeling software and pipeline design tools is an advantage.

Prior experience working with donor-funded or government infrastructure projects will be an added asset.
