Experienced Virtual Assistant for English Language Tutoring Company (With Room To Grow)

This job is to be a virtual assistant to an English teacher that teaches the English language online to elementary age (5-11) students in Beijing, China. Our company is a US-based online English learning platform. You will be administering lessons using a video conference platform like Zoom. You must be available Monday to Friday from 6 pm to 10pm BJT (Beijing time) and on Saturday and Sunday 9am - 5pm BJT (Beijing Time). We are willing to onboard candidates that can commit to at least three days out of the week, however, priority will be given to those who can commit to the full work schedule. We are looking for candidates that are looking to grow with us and work with us long-term. Every six months, your work will be evaluated and if you have a good work attendance record and work ethic, your pay will be doubled. Also, after six months you can apply for a United States work visa through our company.

Skills Required:
Ability to use video web conference platforms like Zoom
Fluent English
Ability to grade student homework (answer key will be provided)
Ability to tutor Chinese students learning English using lesson plans (provided) that you will read through and discuss on a shared screen via a video conferencing platform.
Must be available Monday to Friday from 6 pm to 10pm BJT (Beijing time) and on Saturday and Sunday 9am - 5pm BJT (Beijing Time).

Technical Requirements:
Laptop/Computer with a 64 bit processor (windows or mac)
Must have a device with a camera and/or webcam and be comfortable being on video conferences with the camera on.
Device must have working microphone and audio
Device must be able to download Zoom or a similar web conference platform
Fast and reliable internet connection

Length: More than 6 months (potentially long term)
