We partner with embassies to host cultural exchange events and produce impactful visual content that highlights the richness of different nations.

Position Overview:

We are looking for a Part-Time Virtual Graphics Designer to join our creative team for a long-term collaboration. This role involves designing engaging visuals for embassy events, social media, and educational content.
We’re especially seeking someone who not only has strong design skills, but also understands how to strategically use tools like ChatGPT to brainstorm, plan, and streamline creative workflows. The ideal candidate is fluent in Adobe Illustrator, with the ability to create high-quality posters and graphics from scratch—not just through Canva templates.
To ensure the right fit, shortlisted applicants will be required to complete a brief design test focused on Adobe Illustrator. This test will assess their ability to create original posters, manage files, and work within a professional design workflow—beyond what is possible with tools like Canva.

Key Responsibilities:

?Create visual assets for embassy events, posters, digital campaigns, and learning materials
?Align all designs with YOOFU’s branding and cultural exchange themes
?Work closely with content and video teams to maintain cohesive visual communication
?Use ChatGPT and similar AI tools to support creative ideation and strategic design planning
?Maintain a professional-level workflow in Adobe Illustrator, including saving/exporting, file management, and poster design
?Stay updated on design and AI trends to enhance creative output
?Manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining open communication with the remote team

What We’re Looking For:

?Proven experience in graphic design, with a portfolio showcasing creative and culturally sensitive work
?High proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop—especially in creating original posters and print-ready materials
?Comfortable using ChatGPT or other generative AI tools to support creative work and workflow strategy
?Strong ability to tell stories visually, especially in a multicultural context
?Ability to handle deadlines, shifting priorities, and multiple ongoing projects
?Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate in a virtual environment

Preferred Qualifications:

?Experience in international or cultural exchange projects
?Familiarity with Chinese or global cultural elements is a plus
