Overview

We’re a small but growing digital agency specializing in Service Area Businesses (e.g. plumbers, electricians, cleaners). We need a reliable, design-driven Divi expert who:

Loves crafting beautiful, high-impact layouts (no cookie-cutter templates)

Communicates proactively and asks the right questions

Manages time impeccably and delivers on promised deadlines

Because we’re UK-based (GMT+1) and many candidates are in the Philippines (PHT/GMT+8), strong overlap and rapid written responses (within a few hours) are critical.



What You’ll Do

Design & Build

Take inspiration from examples we share and turn them into polished Divi layouts (not clones, but heavily influenced)

Set up new WordPress sites from scratch: theme install, Divi config, essential plugins

Proactive Communication

Ask clarifying questions up front

Provide daily or milestone-based status updates without being prompted

Highlight any blockers immediately

Time & Task Management

Commit to realistic delivery dates and hit them

Break down larger projects into clear, trackable steps

Ongoing Support

Perform routine updates, troubleshoot Divi-related issues

Suggest small UX tweaks or design improvements

Must-Have Skills & Traits

Expert Divi Builder: 2+ years of hands-on Divi experience with a strong portfolio

Design-Driven: Excellent eye for layout, typography, spacing, and conversion-focused UI

WordPress Fundamentals: Comfortable with HTML, CSS, and light PHP for custom tweaks

Communication:

Fluent written English

Extremely responsive (?4-hour replies during agreed overlap window)

Comfortable on Slack/Email and occasional video calls

Time Management: Proven track record of meeting deadlines, providing accurate estimates, and breaking work into clear milestones

Nice-to-Have (But Not Required)

Basic graphic skills (Photoshop, Figma, Canva)

WooCommerce setup & customization

Performance tools (e.g. WP Rocket, Cloudflare)

Local SEO fundamentals for SAB landing pages
