Remote Associate Designer

We are a small apparel company looking for an Associate Designer with at least 3 years of professional experience in graphic design, preferably working in the apparel industry. This role supports our design team in preparing files for production, managing design files and seasonal product materials, and contributing to a wide range of design and development tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

Mock up prints, patterns, and graphics on garments
Prepare artwork files for factory production
Create and update style sheets, line sheets, and seasonal CADs
Organize and maintain a digital product library across seasons
Make edits and updates to tech packs as needed
Assist in repeat pattern setup, recolors, and flat technical mockups
Support trend, market, and concept research and compile findings
Help manage multiple seasonal deadlines and shifting priorities
Collaborate with cross-functional tea ---------- mbers on shared projects

Required Skills

Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop (intermediate to advanced)
Google Sheets and Microsoft Excel (intermediate or higher)
Google Drive for file management and collaboration
Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-through
Able to manage multiple projects independently and meet deadlines
Strong written and spoken English communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

Professional experience preparing files for factory production
Experience working directly with factories
Familiarity with working in repeat patterns and preparing flat mockups
Experience creating and managing Bills of Materials (BOMs) for apparel products
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, small-team environment
