We are Infinite Hair & Beauty, a growing multi-location retail business based in Texas and Louisiana. We are building an in-store AI-powered assistant app to help customers find the right beauty and hair care products based on their hair type, needs, and goals — matched to our actual inventory.
We are looking for a skilled, experienced Full-Stack Developer who can help us build this project from scratch and continue working with us as we expand and scale the platform.
Your Role Will Include:
• Building a custom web app that runs on a touchscreen kiosk or tablet
• Creating a step-by-step guided interface (questionnaire-based)
• Integrating AI tools (OpenAI or similar) to analyze input and suggest products
• Creating a backend system with a product catalog and admin dashboard
• Connecting the system to inventory (database or Google Sheet to start)
• Making the UI clean, modern, and user-friendly
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
• Strong front-end + back-end experience (Full Stack)
• Experience with GPT/OpenAI or other AI APIs
• Knowledge of conversational UI or chatbot frameworks
• Solid database skills (MySQL, Firebase, or Airtable)
• Can work independently and deliver milestones on time
• Excellent English communication skills
Tech Stack Preferences (Open to Discussion):
• React / Vue / Angular (or similar modern framework)
• Node.js / Python / PHP (any of these is okay)
• OpenAI API / GPT-4 integration
• Firebase, MySQL, or Airtable for database
• Figma or similar for UI wireframes
Timeline:
• MVP launch: Within 10–12 weeks
• Ongoing work for future modules (wigs, bundles, etc.)
How to Apply:
Please include:
1. A short intro about you and your experience with AI or recommendation systems
2. Your portfolio or live projects you’ve worked on (especially retail, beauty, or product-based apps)
3. Your preferred tech stack
4. Availability (part-time, full-time, etc.)
5. Expected compensation
We’re excited to build something innovative and long-lasting — and hope you’ll join the journey!
