Beyond just growth, we help our clients build resilient, profitable businesses — and that requires tight control over cash, margins, and forecasting. We’re hiring a CPA to manage client P&Ls, cashflow, and revenue forecasts so we can bring financial clarity to every strategic decision.
Role Overview
You’ll serve as the financial backbone for our client accounts — owning their P&Ls, managing cashflow forecasts, and helping guide revenue growth decisions. Working closely with our strategists and media buyers, you’ll help connect marketing performance to bottom-line impact and ensure our clients understand where their money is going, when they’ll run out of it, and how to grow profitably.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and maintain client P&Ls: Build and update monthly profit & loss statements that reflect true business health (including COGS, media spend, OPEX, and returns)
- Build cashflow models: Forecast inflows and outflows weekly/monthly; flag upcoming shortfalls or surplus
- Forecast revenue and margin: Use historical sales, media performance, and seasonal trends to model forward-looking revenue and contribution margin
- Collaborate with client teams: Work with media buyers, strategists, and founders to align financial goals with marketing execution
- Track CAC, LTV, ROAS, breakeven points, and their implications for cash planning
- Advise on inventory and OPEX decisions based on cash position and forecasted growth
- Deliver monthly financial reports with actionable insights
- Help automate and clean data sources from Shopify, Meta, Google Ads, and accounting platforms
- Improve financial hygiene and implement better reporting frameworks across clients
Ideal Candidate
- Licensed CPA with 3–5+ years of experience, ideally in ecommerce, DTC, or SaaS
- Strong grasp of cash-based and accrual accounting, unit economics, and DTC financial levers
- Skilled in building and managing P&Ls, cashflow forecasts, and operational budgets
- Proficient with Excel/Google Sheets, and familiar with tools like QuickBooks, Xero, LiveFlow, Fathom
- Confident presenting numbers to founders and distilling financial complexity into business action
- Able to work independently and handle multiple client accounts in a fast-paced, remote team
Nice to Have
- Experience with Shopify, Triple Whale, Lifetimely, or Northbeam
- Familiarity with inventory planning, 3PLs, or demand forecasting
- Background in advising or preparing businesses for fundraising, debt financing, or M&A
