Smart Search System Developer for WordPress + WooCommerce

Job Description:
Looking for an experienced PHP/WordPress developer to build a custom, high-performance search component with real-time autocomplete, filtering, and content integration. The system should:

Index posts, pages, and WooCommerce products

Provide real-time search suggestions and spelling corrections

Support filtering (faceted search) by categories, tags, attributes, and price

Present results instantly in a modern UI

Track search analytics and click-through rates

Be built with scalable search engine (Typesense / Meilisearch / ElasticSearch)

Include a basic admin dashboard for managing search behavior

Requirements:

Proven experience with WordPress/WooCommerce

Strong JavaScript (React/Vue/Vanilla)

Familiarity with WP REST API

Experience integrating external search engines

Fluent English communication and availability for Zoom/Slack
