**Position Title:** **Forex EA Setup Technician**

**Job Type:** Part-time, Remote

**Overview:**
We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and experienced Forex EA Setup Technician to support our rapidly scaling trading business. This crucial part-time role aims to reduce the workload for the owner by automating and managing the technical aspects of prop firm challenges and funded accounts, allowing for significant scaling and increased efficiency. This position is designed for individuals who understand that prop farming is a game of probabilities and want to be part of a growing operation.

**Responsibilities:**
As a Forex EA Setup Technician, your core responsibilities will include:
* **Setting up new accounts** and new challenges. This includes setting up EA in MT5/4, trade copiers, Hedgebots, and prop firm accounts.
* **Adhering to Prop Firm Account Trading Rules** to ensure compliance and avoid account bans or suspensions. This involves:
* Avoiding **reverse hedging** by trading same pairs across multiple challenges or funded accounts within the same firm.(e.g. XAUUSD on act 1 and same pair XAUUSD on act 2)
* Ensuring **trades are unique** by utilizing features like Entry Delay, Lot Randomizer, and Direction Randomizer to prevent red flags from copy trading.
* Avoiding trading between **midnight and 2 A.M.**, which can be flagged as suspicious activity.
* Managing **risk appropriately**, never risking more than half of the max daily loss on a single trade, and similarly for profit targets.
* Avoiding **trading news events** by using a news filter.
* Using **unique Stop Loss (SL) and Take Profit (TP) levels**.
* Being mindful of **IP addresses** by using a single, consistent IP (ideally from a dedicated VPS) for all prop firm account access.
* **Daily checks of trading accounts** to monitor copying and hedging activities, ensuring smooth operation.
* **Troubleshooting errors** related to trading systems, such as issues with the EA and trade copiers.
* **Tracking everything in a Google spreadsheet** for comprehensive record-keeping and accountability. This includes logging VPS information, hedge accounts, and challenge details, and for tracking daily checks of trading, copying, and hedging activities.
* Sending an **end-of-day summary** to provide a snapshot of account performance and activities.
* Staying up to date with all best practices, latest tech announcements
Most of the compliance settings will be pre-set on the EA, you need to make sure they are compliant with the firm's rules.

**Qualifications:**
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
* **Previous relevant experience** with MetaTrader 5 (MT5), prop firms, Expert Advisors (EAs), and Forex bots.
* Experience with **tech support or troubleshooting** is highly desired.
* Proficiency with **Google Sheets** for tracking and data management.
* **Excellent communication skills** in English (fluent or bilingual preferred).
* A personality profile indicating a **high "C" score** (Conscientiousness) in the DISC test, signifying attention to detail, accuracy, analytical skills, and precision. Individuals who are generally quieter, more reserved, and value systems are well-suited for this role.

**Compensation:**
Your compensation will be structured progressively:
* **Initial Onboarding (First 2 weeks):** $5 per hour.
* **Week 3-12 :** $8 per hour.
* **After 12 Weeks:** You will receive $8 per hour plus an additional **5% of actual withdrawals** made from trading activities that you support. This aligns your success with the company's growth and can lead to significantly higher earnings.

**Working Hours:**
The role requires **10 hours per week**.

**Confidentiality Clause:**
You will be granted access to **MetaTrader 5 (MT5) trading account logins** necessary for performing your duties, which include setting up and managing Expert Advisors (EAs), checking trading, copying, and hedging activities.
It is explicitly stated that you **will not be provided with access to prop firm dashboard logins or direct access to client funds**. This means you cannot withdraw funds yourself, as all assets remain under the owner's control, minimizing risk of misuse.

Any unauthorized disclosure or use of such information is strictly prohibited and may result in immediate termination of employment and legal action.
