Contract Lawyer – Commercial Dispute & Advisory Work

We are seeking a qualified lawyer or experienced legal professional to assist our New Zealand-based business with several ongoing legal matters. This role will focus on:

-Providing advice on commercial disputes and litigation strategy.
-Drafting formal legal correspondence, settlement offers, and responses for disputes.
-Preparing submissions for the Disputes Tribunal and other proceedings.
-Advising on employment law, consumer law, and commercial law & agreements where required.
-Acting as a trusted legal advisor for both short-term cases and potentially ongoing part-time support.

Key Requirements:

Qualified lawyer or senior legal professional (NZ law experience preferred, Commonwealth legal systems acceptable).
Strong understanding of commercial, consumer, and employment law.
Excellent written English and ability to draft high-quality legal documents.
Proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently
