About the Role

I’m building a fast-growing YouTube channel teaching business owners how to use AI and automation tools to save time, grow faster, and work smarter. I’m looking for a full-time video editor + thumbnail designer who understands the YouTube landscape and can keep up with a consistent content cadence.

This is not your typical agency-style gig. You’ll be my right-hand creative partner — editing videos, pulling high-performing Shorts, designing and testing thumbnails, and uploading everything to YouTube.

If you live and breathe YouTube, love clean, minimal editing, and are excited about AI, keep reading.

What You’ll Do

**Edit 6 Long-Form Videos per Week**

- Videos are 10–30 mins (occasional 1-hour+)
- Talking head + screenshare (minimal animations/effects)
- Edit includes: clean cuts, light B-roll, zoom-ins, audio cleanup, color grading
- Footage provided in 4K

**Create 3 Shorts per Video**

- 3 Shorts per long-form video
- Pull highlights or use Opus/other tools
- Add captions, punchy hooks, and snappy pacing

**Design 3 Thumbnails per Video**

- 3 thumbnails per long-form video
- Design in Canva or similar tool based on provided creative direction
- Follow strong CTR principles (you should know what works on YouTube)

**Test Thumbnails for Performance**

- Use thumbnail testing tools
- Monitor CTR / AVD and rotate if needed

**Upload to YouTube**

- Follow a provided checklist for title, tags, SEO, end screens
- You'll be trained on this checklist

---

Requirements

- 2+ years experience editing YouTube content (long-form + Shorts)
- Proven YouTube thumbnail design experience
- Strong knowledge of YouTube strategy (CTR, AVD, retention, thumbnails, etc.)
- Familiar with ---------- , Google Drive, Slack, and Canva
- Fast, reliable internet and good communication skills
- Organized and responsive — you meet deadlines and take ownership

---

### Bonus Points If You…

- Are interested in AI tools and automations
- Have experience testing thumbnails with TubeBuddy or similar
- Have used tools like Opus Clip, Thumbnail Test, VidIQ, 1of10 etc.

---

### Pay & Bonuses

- $250 USD/week base pay (via Wise)
- +$25 weekly bonus if all videos delivered within 48 hours
- Additional bonuses for hitting performance metrics

---

### Hours & Delivery

- Flexible working hours, but fast turnaround required.
- All videos must be delivered within 48 hours of receiving files.

---

Growth Opportunity

If you do great work, this can grow into a Creative Director role — managing additional editors, owning channel performance, and shaping the creative direction of the brand long-term.

---

How to Apply (2 Steps)

1. Respond to this ad with:
- Your resume
- Portfolio with YouTube videos and thumbnails you've created (and performance stats if you have them)
- A short Loom video (<2 minutes) explaining why you want this role
2. If shortlisted, you’ll be asked to edit a short sample video (15 min raw ? <10 min final)

---

This is a long-term role for someone who wants to grow with a rising YouTube brand. If you’re creative, reliable, and hungry to improve — apply now.
